As well, for the first time in over 25 years, two bowlers, Braden Wearly and Kaden Fleming each won $ 1,000 scholarships for knocking down 32 pins in the Powerbowl, when each bowled strike, seven pins then five pins to the thrill of a large crowd. Layne Warner from Northern New Mexico overwhelmed Justin Wolf with a 253 game to capture his first JBT title. A rare dual 300 game sighting occurred in Friday’s session of the “Rancho Runners” League when both Joe LaRosa and Anthony Subia fired perfect games of 300, consisting of twelve consecutive strikes Center manager, Steve Mackie said there had only been two other times in his 26 years at the Center when there were two 300’s bowled on the same night in the same bowling league.
